Create an Island; Project
CREATE AN ISLAND; Clarlandia

In November, we had a Create an Island Project we made in Humanities, or geography. As you can see on the side, my island is very detailed. There is the longitude and latitude and a legend with our natural resources, the tourist attractions, museums and landforms.Anyone who looks at this picture clearly can figure out the general info about the island.
Our main natural resources are oil, salt, and, of course, water! We get a lot of money from these three main resources as well as from all the tourist attractions. The latitude of my island is
The main tourists attractions are; The Sweet Sand Beach, which is great for relaxing swimming in the beach; The Love Islands Lovely Lake where you can go for a picnic in the nature with your fiancee. Francescajda is also a very famous city, not only because it is the capital city, but also because of all the beautiful buildings. The last most important attraction is the active volcanoes and the Sweet Mountains famous for skiing!
Our history in a short version is; a man, in 1816 called Bill Quart went on a journey to bring something valuable from every continent to his true love, Clare Grogan. The ship got lost and ended up on an undiscovered island. Mr.Quart became the king and called the island Clarlandia after his true love's name.
The government, while Bill was still alive, was a monarchy and he was the king. He treated everyone equally and made the island civilized. Bill also made the laws. Shortly after he died, tired of his long journey, the people decided to have a democracy, thinking it was a bit more fair for the inhabitants of the island. The islands president is called Christopher Tilde.
My island's flag is here. The four hearts represent all the love from Bill to Clare. The blue is the beautiful skies. Red is for the blood of the two men that died, green is for the wonderful land and white is Clare's Favorite color. The lightning is for strength.
My money is called quarts, and, as you can see on the left, they have a picture of Clare Grogan on them, how much it is worth (in this case, 10 quarts), the name and some symbols from the flag!

As you can see, my island is very interesting, and if I actually discovered it, it would be a very big project for anyone. I really liked 'inventing' this island and I hope anyone who reads my info will be interested!
